Roy Bingham is a Harvard MBA and former McKinsey consultant, banker, serial entrepreneur and co-founder, with Liz Stahura of BDS Analytics. He started BDS Analytics in 2015 after recognizing that the cannabis industry lacked the kind of sophisticated data that is both commonplace and essential in other industries where point of sale analytics and understanding consumer behavior drive decisions from new product development to sales and marketing. Roy had been an early investor in SPINS – a very successful data analytics company for the Natural Products Industry and later was an expert user of their data, as well as data from IRI, Nielsen and others as a senior sales and marketing executive with ReNewLife – America’s leading natural digestive care company. His other businesses include Health Business Partners, Nutrition Business Journal, Health Strategies Consulting, Nourishlife and the NBJ Summit. He is also a chartered banker having started his career with NatWest Bank and then Paragon PLC.
